The Gang is an abstract cooperative game combining communication limits with Texas Hold'em poker. Players attempt to determine the relative strength of their hands compared to everyone else's through the flop, turn, and river without two people having the same value, resulting in a unique non-verbal cooperative deduction experience.

“The game, which was already a 10 out of 10, is basically made a 10 plus out of 10. Yeah, this is a fantastic version of the game. Gets a 10 out of 10 from me.”(32:24)

“The Gang is kitchen table co-op done really well, with a simple spin on a classic that probably makes it a classic in of itself.”(12:44)

“The discussion after the round, where and how you should have ranked your hand, priceless. Not a lot of bad to say about this. I've played it with people who know poker, people who don't know poker, and everyone has liked it so far.”

“There's no greater endorsement than when a player says, "I know I need to go, but let's just do one more round." And The Gang demands several more rounds.”

“Because I feel like this is sort of a special little game there, it's getting a Sax on Serenade, my highest, uh, highest award, and so it is getting a spot in my gaming library.”(9:32)

“But this game is so stinking fun, it is delightful. And again, I had no idea, it never even crossed my mind to make poker into a cooperative game where there is that telling of what your hand is simply by the act of taking a chip that is in comparative order.”(12:32)

“It's a clever game, and one that was quite fun in our first try. A four player game without any special cards felt challenging (but we won!) – and a second game adding in the special cards definitely made it more interesting for me with a new rule being added for each round after the first.”

“The Gang is a good game. I think it's on the edge of a great game, but it's the way that these different elements collide to create something that is just so welcoming. It's something that gives this box tremendous value to me and to most people who play games.”(14:23)
