In Schotten Totten, two players face off across a boundary of nine stones, building poker-like formations of three cards to claim control of each territory. Players use logic and deduction to claim stones even before their opponent has finished playing their cards, capturing territory to defend their Scottish village against the rival clan.

“As we wrap up this Schotten Totten review, we find a game that's deceptively simple yet surprisingly rich. It's all about the subtle art of hand management, the merry dance of player interaction, and the delicate balance of deeply strategic decisions. I've laughed, second-guessed, and even reveled in the intense duel of the minds this game provides.”

“The whole game is play a card then take a card. It couldn't be simpler, and yet the decision of which card to play and where is up there with the best.”
