Tenby is a cozy city-building card game where players work to create their own miniature version of the beautiful Welsh seaside town street by street. Over the course of 10 rounds split into Night, Day, and Clean Up phases, players draft and place cards to construct terraces, meet various resident card tiers, and build the best town possible.

“It's a really puzzly game, and I give it 10 B out of 10 B, and I love it.”(1:23)

“In fact, the two main areas where Tenby stumbles are tied to its production and its scoring system. Otherwise, this is one of the more joyous gaming experiences I've had this year.”

“There is a something about this game that I find quite relaxing to play. I just love the classic turn order system where you are incentivized to sometimes grab the weaker day card just to make sure you go first for the next time.”

“This was another absolute surprise that I thought, "Oh, I think I'm going to enjoy this." But I didn't think I would be as charmed as I was by this. It's the game Tenby.”

“Even without the Kickstarter extras, Tenby is a lovely, clever, and highly replayable game. The lack of a scoreboard in the retail edition is a shame, especially given how central scoring is to the experience, but it doesn't diminish the quality of the gameplay itself.”

“It's a delightful, absorbing, and highly rewarding puzzle that you will be fully obsessed with for the entire game. But thankfully, as the choices are never that great, it won't slow the game down that much.”

“I really enjoyed building those streets. It looks stunning on the table. I think the art style is brilliant and it also works really well with the gameplay as you need to notice the elements that you're then going to be scoring about.”(12:51)

“But I I had so much fun playing this thing. I really liked it. So, Mighty Boards has created something that looks cute on the table, uh, but it has to be a big table.”(13:57)

“Tenby is a city builder that's overflowing with heart. Genuine pride and passion for the Welsh seaside town makes this an utterly charming play. Pacing can drag at times (especially with large groups), but Tenby is tremendously replayable and surprisingly tactical for how easy it is to play.”

“So 10B was a very pleasant surprise. It's a pleasantl looking game. Pleasant is an adjective I think that I would use about it. Just just nice to play 10B. So check it out. I'm Tom Vassel. I give this an 8 out of 10.”(8:38)
