Nature is an engine-building strategy game where players manage and evolve species over millions of years within a constantly changing ecosystem. Designed as a successor and redesign within the Evolution game system, it focuses on helping your species propagate, flourish, and adapt rather than solely dominating.

“I have yet to see a group finish a game without wanting to immediately dive back in, either to try the same setup again, or to test the waters on another combination of modules. Nature is crackerjack stuff.”

“Every single game I played felt completely different because the food supply at the middle of the table was changing. The first game it was pretty scarce, the last game there was just a ton of food, which just totally changes your strategy.”(10:23)

“Nature is a stronger and more robust version of its progenitor, with more flexibility and depth. For fullest effect, it leans on its modules, which may well prove too exclusive for some players.”

“It's still not a perfect game, but it is the best version of the system and it's one that I very much enjoy. It's a four out of five.”(21:19)

“I can confidently say after having played only once that Nature is a much better game. I don’t mean to throw any shade against Evolution as it’s one of my favourite games especially for non-gamers, but from what I’ve seen Nature is a strict improvement.”

“I enjoy this game. This is an evolution, haha, of evolution, and I think it's for the better. It plays very similar to what Evolution did. It's just the way the modules work that really make this significantly more interesting, I think.”(17:00)

“Nature is both an entirely new game system and an iteration. It successfully blends a solid core framework with a long line of additional content players can add to tweak and adjust the experience. There is a tremendous amount of potential here, and much of it has already been realized.”

“Nature is an update to the game Evolution that retains the original thematic biology gameplay, though the traits can become overly familiar until you add the expansions. The turns move quickly with important decisions, but it can be hard to react to players who play their traits after you.”(2:32)
