“I love this game, I love this game, I love the theme, I love the mechanics of it. Like Jeff said, it is simple in the mechanics, but the game itself is so difficult and punishing, and I really do feel like you need to have the perfect strategy, or a strategy at all.”(37:15)
“Ghost Stories is very good, but very hard – one of the most difficult coop games I've played.”
“All in all, Ghost Stories is a whole lot of fun. It's fast-paced, keeps you on your toes, and requires full cooperation between all players. The rules are easy enough to pick up, and most of the complaints I have are just nitpicks over an otherwise grand experience.”
“Overall, this is one of the best co-op [games] I've ever played. I would suggest it to anybody that's into co-op [games]; just know you're going to have a hard time beating the game.”(14:22)
“This is a classic, brutally difficult cooperative tower defense game. It's one of those cooperative games where it just feels like things start bad and just slowly get worse and worse and worse, but I love it, and it has some of the best artwork in board gaming, in my opinion.”
“Ghost Stories truly stands out thanks to its strong theme, its amazing card art, and its challenging cooperative gameplay. If you enjoy the horror genre - or even if you don't, really - this is a must-buy co-op game for every board game fan out there.”
“Ghost Stories might just be the game that changes my mind about co-ops. I can't wait to play it again.”
“Overall, I give Ghost Stories an 8.5/10. Though it isn't my favorite cooperative game, it is still a highly enjoyable experience. If the theme doesn't bother you, then you should definitely try it out.”
“We really enjoy Ghost Story for its theme, random board, and replay value. Selecting your character and difficulty level also helps the replay value. The artwork is awesome, and the production quality is good.”(6:33)
“I really enjoy this game. Like most co-operative games, it's very thinky-thinky, and keeps the players on the edge of their seats as the suspense grows. It has a strong theme, interesting mechanics, and is just generally a lot of fun. I personally recommend it.”
“Hugely popular game and it's with good reason. It's a good fun solid punishing co-op that is, I mean, it is, it's almost as close to an uh, you know, a summer blockbuster action movie as you can get.”(4:44)
