The Verdict
based on 14 reviews
“I just love all the expansions that go with it, so you can change it up or whatever way you'd like to do in game scoring. I really enjoy tile laying games, I love the puzzle portion of it, and this one fits very well in at number 18.”
“It's it's just a really really great game and that's why I love Alhambra. I would recommend anyone goes out and get it and puts it on their shelf.”(2:18)
“It's become one of my what am I pretty good games like my top 30 games I would say right top 30”(0:35)
“So this one again held up remarkably well. I'm really enjoying it, and it's gone straight into my collection, and I'm very excited to play some more of this one, a nice quick teach, but there's again, there's additional little twists, just keep it coming back to the table.”(8:25)
“Alhambra is a terrific game and, in my opinion, balances the depth of strategy excellently. Utilizing tactics and having a plan is critical to succeed, but there aren't so many moving parts that it puts off casual gamers.”
“People will be drawn to its straightforward rules, and the light gameplay. While it may not be the heaviest of games, it is still a great experience. I highly recommend Alhambra as a solid addition to anyone's collection, or as a great place to start one.”
“We're gonna say that if we're gonna give this scope four stars right, I mean, because of a random nature, but it's thought really us a lot of fun, its own it's great here.”(10:10)
“But besides that, if you don't mind that, then this game is a lot of fun.”(12:01)
“It has an interesting fun feeling, it's fairly pleasant, um, I would say it's good, not great, although with the expansions it goes into greatness mode.”(7:37)
“But if you don't mind playing a few practice rounds, this is a rewarding game that benefits from repeated playing.”
“After "much" internal debate (maybe 2 minutes worth), I give Alhambra a 7.5/10. I did not dislike playing the game (thus it does not get lower), but I'm also not itching to play it again.”
“Alhambra fulfills its role as a very light game that gives you the enjoyment of constructing a building without a complicated rules set or long game length. Leave this one on the shelf when your hardcore Euro-playing friends come over for game night.”
“This is just a good game and this I think is a good small box budget friendly version of the game. It's not my favorite version of the game.”(14:58)
“I like Alhambra, and indeed it was one of the games that drew me into the hobby. Though there are several mechanics in the game — card/tile drafting, set collection, hand management, and tile placement — they are seamlessly integrated, and the game is approachable for both new and experienced players alike.”
